Matt joined the M. Griffith team as our Chief Investment Officer in 2010. He works to develop and implement investment strategies, and is responsible for the research and review of the investment vehicles used in client accounts. He also works closely with our financial consultants to help determine appropriate investments for specific client portfolios based on their risk, return and life objectives. Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP^®) Professional. The CFA charter is recognized as the definitive standard by which to measure the competence, integrity and dedication of investment professionals, and is the most widely known and respected investment credential in the world. Prior to joining the M. Griffith team, Matt spent several years working at an investment firm in Rochester, NY and also served as a Wealth Advisor to ultra-high-net-worth clients for a family office in Corning, NY. He graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Finance.

Matt is originally from the Utica-Rome area and is very happy to be back home. He is married and has three boys. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching Syracuse University sporting events.
