COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FACILITATES COMPUTER DONATION

Posted

UTICA, NY – The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc. recently facilitated a donation of computer equipment from M. Griffith Investment Services to the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley.

'We had excellent computer systems in the office, from monitors, to drives, to mice and keyboards. The only problem was that they were not fast enough for the up-to-the-second work we do here in the office,” said David T. Griffith, President and CEO of M. Griffith. He continued, “Having worked with The Community Foundation over the course of several years, I reached out to them regarding donating this equipment, as their knowledge about our local not-for-profit community is extensive. Within days, they identified the Boys and Girls Club of the Mohawk Valley as a suitable recipient for this donation, and I am happy that M. Griffith will be able to help them enhance their after-school program with these computers.”
